Scarecrow Festival to Celebrate Harvest
29th & 30th Sept
We invite you and your family to help us celebrate Harvest by designing a Scarecrow! Be as creative and inventive as you like. Bring them along after School on Friday 28th September and we will put them in and around St John's for people to look at over the weekend. No Charge!
Pet Service 1st October 4pm
Bring the WHOLE
family along for a service of Blessing and Thanksgiving for the pets we own and for the love and comfort they give us.

bacon butty to shift the hangover? Come along on Saturday 21st October and help yourself to a slice of bacon, a cuppa and a chat in the Church Hall.
Light & Bright 30th October 5.30pm
As the nights get longer, join us for a celebration of the good things in our world! Bring the children, grand children or just come along on your own!
We will have a bonfire, fireworks and hotdogs. Come along in dressed in bright colours. Free of Charge.
Service of Remembrance 2nd November 6pm
As the Church celebrates the Feast of All Souls, were we pray for the departed, we invite you to join with us to pray for and remember those who we have loved and see no more. This will be a quiet and reflective service. We will read out the names of loved ones, light candles in their memory, sing hymns and have tea and cake at the end.
Christmas Tree Festival 29th November - 3rd December
We are hosting our first Christmas Tree Festival at St John's. Step into a winter wonderland and see the creativity of our community as individual groups and organisations design and decorate their own tree for charity.

Christmas Fayre 2nd December 11am-1pm
Bring the family along to meet Santa Claus, eat mince pies, and drink mulled wine. There will be raffles, tombola, arts and craft stalls and activities for the kids. Why not stop and have lunch? If you would like to have a stall at the Fayre, please be in touch.
Carols by Candle Light
17th December 6pm
Join us to sing your favourite Christmas Carols by cnadle light as we prepare to celebrate Christmas and then join us for mince pies and mulled wine afterwards. Except the noise and chaos of Christmas shopping and enjoy some quiet and peace and fellowship with your Church family.
Christingle 24th December 6pm
Bring the kids, grandkids or just yourself along to sing Christmas carols, learn about the Christingle and visit the Christmas Crib. No need to bring your own Christingle, we will make them as part of the service! All Welcome!
Christmas Mass Times
Midnight Mass 11.30pm
Join us as we gather by Candle Light to celebrate Christmas.
Mass of the Dawn 8.00am
A simple said mass lasting 30mins.
Parish Mass 9.30am
The usual Sunday Morning style Mass with hymns and incense.
Family Mass 11.30am
Join us after you have unwrapped your presents for an informal and relaxed Mass. Get the kids involved with the service, sing Christmas hymns and work up an appetite for Christmas Lunch!
